Awards & Accreditations

Wolverine Human Services is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Services for Families and Children, "a comprehensive independent accreditor of behavioral health care and social service organizations operating in the United States and Canada. Over 1000 organizations, voluntary, public and proprietary, local and statewide, large and small, have either successfully achieved accreditation through the Council's process or are currently engaged in the process."



Wolverine is also accredited by the Association of Experiential Education (AEE). This national accreditation recognizes that Wolverine's outdoor therapeutic programming meets the standards set by the AEE as it relates to safety, therapeutic content, maintenance and design.



Wolverine is a member of the Juvenile Justice Association of Michigan and the Association of Accredited Child and Family Agencies. Wolverine is also a member of the Child Welfare League of America, “an association of more than 900 public and private nonprofit agencies that assist more than 3.5 million abused and neglected children and their families each year with a range of services”.



Wolverine is also a member of the American Correctional Association, an organization dedicated to setting standards for facilities and programs for both adult and juvenile offenders. Wolverine Human Services is licensed by the State of Michigan in every program as required by law.
