MEDICAL BENEFITS

Comprehensive coverage of medical benefits for employee and eligible dependents. Medical plans include Blue Cross and Blue Shield. Eligibility after 180 days of service.

DENTAL BENEFITS

Comprehensive dental plan for employee and eligible dependents. The Agency pays 100% of the dental premiums. Eligibility after 180 days of service.

MEDICAL INSURANCE WAIVER

If an employee is covered under another health insurance plan, they can elect to waive insurance coverage and be reimbursed by the Agency up to $650.00 a year.

LIFE INSURANCE, ACCIDENTAL DEATH AND DISMEMBERMENT

Every employee, after 18 months of service, is covered under this plan at no cost to the employee.

SHORT TERM DISABILITY INSURANCE

This plan is available to all employees at no cost, after 18 months of service. Benefits begin on the 15th day of the disability.

WORKER’S COMPENSATION INSURANCE

Medical expenses relating to an injury on the job may be covered under Worker’s Compensation Insurance.

FAMILY/MEDICAL/LEAVE OF ABSENCE

If an employee qualifies, the Agency will grant an unpaid leave of absence up to 12 weeks in any 12-month period. Wolverine Human Services continues to pay its portion of your benefit costs.

PENSION PLAN

After six years of employment, the employee is 100% vested.

403(B) SAVINGS PLAN

This plan is offered to all Wolverine Human Services employees.

PAID TIME OFF

Wolverine Human Services offers 19 personal days during the first year of employment. One day is added for each year of employment with a maximum of 30 paid personal days.

HOLIDAYS

The agency has eight paid holidays annually.

EDUCATIONAL REIMBURSEMENT

Wolverine Human Services offers tuition reimbursement for authorized courses at $300.00 per class. Eligibility begins after one year of service.

EMPLOYEE REFERRAL PROGRAM

In order to encourage and reward the recruiting efforts of employees, Wolverine Human Services grants cash awards of $500.00, if the referral remains at the Agency for one year and receives a favorable annual evaluation.
