He has been with WHS for 18 years now. He has had multiple positions from youth care worker, to “meat cutting work study coordinator,” and is currently an HR clerk in our Vassar office. He enjoys working at Wolverine because it has been both challenging and rewarding for him. Working with the youth can be challenging but the rewarding part is seeing the growth the youth make during their time here. He enjoys working with our youth for the long time that he has because it makes him feel good to see them overcome their obstacles and know he had a part in that. Mr. Gardner’s favorite part about working at Wolverine, and I believe a lot of our employees will agree, is hearing how well the kids do when they leave our facilities. One thing he would like to see implemented is for the PAP program (Pioneer Adventure Program) to come back.
