Pioneer Adventure Programs (PAP) is headquartered on the campus of Pioneer Work and Learn Centers in Vassar, MI. The purpose of the PAP is to provide outdoor therapeutic programming for youth placed in Wolverine programs and to offer its services to outside groups looking to develop new skills.

On site facilities include a Low Initiative Course, two High Ropes Courses, a Climbing Wall and three camp sites for groups. Off site, PAP provides treks including canoeing, backpacking, distance hiking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and others.

While PAP works mainly with Wolverine groups, it also engages outside groups to provide adventure programming designed specifically to each group's needs. PAP believes the worth of individuals and "challenge by choice" is the backbone of effective programming. The curriculum can be designed appropriately for each group. The PAP program has been developed to meet the standards of the Association for Challenge Course Technology and is fully accredited through the Association for Experiential Educators.
