Our mission is to offer appropriate settings and effective services to children, their families and their communities.
Our purpose is to take part in a mutual effort, assisting those in need to overcome social and economic barriers, to capitalize on their personal strengths, and to contribute to their own healing. Our approach is eclectic and is founded on the premise of “unconditional” care. Wolverine’s continuum of services and effective network of referral sources provide a responsive and cost-effective system accessible at the community level. We continue to use new treatment approaches, expand our services, reach out to collaborate with other service providers and utilize input from our many clients, constituents, funders and supporters.

Healing is a multifaceted process that requires hard work and dedication from all parties involved. Wolverine understand that some adolescents need maximum focus and attention during this time, in order to successfully overcome their challenges and get on the path to well-being.
To offer the greatest support, Wolverine established a state-of-the-art secure treatment facility for both males and females. Treatment services ad case planning are gender specific and based on individual assessments. Clients are housed in a caring yet strict environment, providing them with the comfort and discipline they need to achieve their best results.
Non-Secure Residential Treatment Programs
Programs For Males
Many youth respond well to a homelike environment when they are getting back on their feet. Wolverine Human Services provides a number of non-secure programs to encourage a feeling of warmth and safety while participants learn the life skills they need to successfully return to the community.
Programs For Females
Females have a unique set of needs and learning styles. At Wolverine, we realize this and strive to provide a caring, nurturing environment that speaks to the emotional side of the female psyche. We offer secure and non-secure treatment options for female residents, as well as onsite substance abuse and educational services.
Substance Abuse Programs
Drug and alcohol addiction are serious issues affecting today’s youths. Research says that the earlier treatment is introduced, the more successful recovery efforts will be. At Wolverine, we’ve seen this firsthand, and have developed several specialized programs to meet the needs of a diverse population of adolescents. We’re in their corner, and we’re committed to providing recovery plans that will lead them toward their very best life.
