Wolverine Safe Net - Sex Offender Treatment1091 Commerce Dr. Vassar, MI 48768 P: (989) 823-7640 F: (989) 823-9238The Wolverine Human Services Safe Net program is an independently functioning program located in Vassar, Michigan, on the Wolverine/Vassar Campus. The W-Safe Net program is a collaborative effort with Ennis Center for Children to provide comprehensive, evidence based residential treatment programming for males, ages 13-17 with sexual behavior problems. The program serves non-secure clients who have been charged and/or convicted of CSC and/or clients who have been accused of or have acted out in a sexually inappropriate manner. W-Safe Net's objective is to help clients take responsibility for their sexual behaviors by identifying specific sexual behavior patterns; exploring interpersonal situations that lead to sexually inappropriate behaviors; identifying high-risk situations/destructive behavior patterns, learning how to avoid, cope, and escape risky situations; and how to abstain from sexually inappropriate behaviors in the future. Program Activities and Services Relapse Prevention Through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy Model The goal of the W-Safe Net program is to develop positive character and integrity in order to improve individual, family and community functioning. The program desires to ensure public safety through a multi-dimensional treatment philosophy that includes support systems, appropriate living arrangements, educational programming and supervision that are in place before completion of the program. |
