Located in Vassar, Michigan, and nestled on a beautifully landscaped, serene wooded site, the Vassar House Passages Behavioral Health Program was built in 2008 specifically for females, ages 13-17. Young women referred to Passages may have full scale IQs in the Borderline/Slow Learner range and higher. Passages is committed to providing intensive behavioral health programming for non-secure, adolescent females with the intent of successfully returning to the community, family and school.
The Passages Program utilizes a model consisting of a 1:6, therapist to client ratio, on site Psychological and Psychiatric treatment, medical services and educational programming. Outdoor therapeutic programming, vocational education and recreation are included.

The Passages Program is unique in that it concentrates on gender specific issues as well as treatment. Passages Treatment teams are dedicated to providing clients with a safe, empowering program that will leave them with the long lasting benefits to strengthen their ability in building self-esteem and confidence to become successful young women.
