Meet Douglas Grew, he has been employed with Wolverine for 20 years and is currently a Case Manager at our Wolverine Secure Treatment Center. Mr. Grew enjoys working with kids because he feels he can make a difference with them, he recalls working with a former employee talking about how you have to love what you do and the kids have to matter to you, to him they do. He find his job fulfilling when he is able to open a clients’ eyes to new ways allowing them to see options they would have never thought of before. Over the last twenty years Mr. Grew has really enjoyed working on interacting with not just the kids but also the staff. His favorite part of Wolverine is that he has been able to grow with the agency and being able to be involved with so many different areas through the years. Mr. Grew believes music is a great way to express oneself and relieve negative thoughts or feelings, so one thing he would like to see implemented here is a music program for the kids.
