Wolverine Human Services could not have asked for a better Saturday to host the Detroiters Celebrity Fowling Tournament in collaboration with Comedy Central! The fowling tournament took place at Sports and Social Detroit and Mike’s Pizza Bar, outside of Little Caesars Arena. Thanks to our generous donors and sponsors, including Fresh Era, and Near Perfect Media, Wolverine Human Services was able to raise $7,900 on July 28th. In addition, Viacom, the media conglomerate that owns Comedy Central, donated $2,500 to the event. In total, Wolverine Human Services raised $10,400, which will be going directly towards supporting children in Michigan’s foster care system.

Through the support of all of our participants, we were able to provide attendees with a day full of fun in Detroit. The Fowling Warehouse came out to help us set up for fowling, a game combining football and bowling, created in Detroit.

We would like to sincerely thank the Detroit companies and celebrities that supported the event, including Drought, Revive, WHGLN, Detroitwick, BreAnn White, Ty Mopkins, 1XRun, The Dirt Label, Jimmy King, and the cast members of Comedy Central’s Detroiters. All attendees were able to witness a rambunctiously comical Fowling Tournament. Aaron Cohen and Noah Haffey of Revive ended up walking away with a first-place victory.

Wolverine Human Services would like to thank all sponsors, fowlers, participants, and donors for helping us create such a fun-filled event!
