She has been employed with WHS for 1.5 years as a Youth Care Worker at our Wolverine Growth and Recovery Center. She chose to work at Wolverine because she knew she wanted to work with kids. Working with our youth has helped her to grow as a person and bring out her leadership skills. For Ms. Rider, knowing there is always room for advancement here gives her the motivation to keep striving in her job duties. Ms. Rider likes working with the youth because she feels fulfillment being able to make a difference in their lives and watching them improve and grow. Her favorite part of her job is being able to see the kids complete their programs. Some things Ms. Rider would like to see implemented here are more outdoor activities in the warmer months, and a game room the youth can enjoy.
