Dear Wolverine Friends and Supporters,
It is always a busy and exciting year when in the last year Wolverine Human Services served 1200 youth. In foster care and adoptions we achieved a 100% success rate and in residential 89.36% success rate on completions of our programs. We are very proud to be celebrating our 30th Anniversary of serving Michigan’s youth. We have become the largest child welfare agency in Michigan, we are maintaining a balanced budget, completed 146 adoptions this year, and had 30 students graduate with their high school diplomas and another 18 with their GEDs. Our partnership with the Beck Institute is closer to completion. Our agency with be competent in cognitive behavior therapy as an evident based therapy that will be used throughout our residential programs. We will be the first agency internationally to achieve this status.
We are more engaged in the communities our programs are in. Our Core Orchards project and the Den are receiving much press and attention. We want to continue to develop partnerships with many community groups that will benefit not only those communities but also our youth.
