The Vassar House girls tie dyed t-shirts with Frankenmuth United Methodist Church on August 14th and 15th.

The girls really enjoyed the Church members coming out and spending their afternoon with them to tie dye shirts. The Church members first started with a short bible study. Many of these girls have never tie dyed before and they found it fun, different, and exciting to be creating something they will be able to wear and enjoy for time to come. The Church members taught the girls on how to create designs (ie: spiral, stripes, and bulls eye) with the color they brought for them to use.

The church members came out the following day to let the girls see what they designed in their t-shirts. The ladies talked them through the rinsing and laying out to dry method. The girls looked truly amazed at what they did and you could see the excitement in their faces when they opened their t-shirts.
