Residential Treatment
The Wolverine Difference

Family Counseling

As family and home life play a crucial role in the rehabilitation of youth and their ability to be successful upon release, Wolverine Human Services is proud to offer family therapy and counseling services by a Master’s Level Therapist.

Transportation

In alignment with our dedication to family involvement in youth rehabilitation, therapy, and counseling, Wolverine Human Services offers free transportation to any of our residential facilities for the families of our clients.

Aftercare

Transition out of a residential facility can be difficult both for clients and families. In order to ensure success even after a client leaves one of our residential facilities, a Permanency Specialist/Family Worker is assigned to each youth’s family to provide in-home services and post placement support.

Continuum of Care

Continuum of Care

Often, residential care, juvenile justice, and foster care overlap. As youth find themselves transitioning between these situations, they experienced disjunction and overwhelming changes during a sensitive period. Although it is important to find placements on a timely basis- it is essential that a full evidence-based continuum of care meeting federal guidelines is offered in order to meet the individual needs of children and families.

Alumni Opportunity

The Alumni Opportunity is a program that gives graduating/former clients of Wolverine Human Services access to community resources provided by WHS, partnership agencies, and organizations. We hope that the Alumni Opportunity program will continue to help our graduated children to become victors.
