Substance Abuse Programs

Drug and alcohol addictions are serious issues affecting today’s youth. Research indicates that early introduction to treatment tends to lead to a higher rate of successful recovery.

Wolverine Human Services (WHS) has developed several specialized programs to meet the needs of a diverse population of adolescents. WHS is committed to providing recovery plans that will help support these individuals in need, guiding them towards a successful path of continued recovery and sobriety.

Victor’s Substance Abuse Treatment (VSAT) is a specialized residential treatment program for male clients ages 12-17 with significant cognitive impairment. This program provides individualized therapy for substance abuse in addition to individual, group, and family counseling services. Education is provided on-site, including Edgenuity credit recovery, GED preparation and testing, and online college courses.

Permanency Specialists/Family Worker assigned to each youth’s family to provide in-home services and post placement support.
